Have you ever wanted to link directly to a Google Calendar event page? It sounds so simple yet I didn't find it so. Here is one way of doing it.

It's easy when you know how but it seems to be not clearly documented at the moment. I'm documenting it here in the hope that someone will find it useful.

 I used a URL like this:

    http://www.google.com/calendar/event?hl=en&action=VIEW&eid=<eventId>
